Job summary

Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital in Freeport, IL seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Telemetry unit to deliver compassionate patient care and support nursing staff in cardiac and medical care. You will monitor patients, record vital signs, and assist with telemetry equipment while adhering to safety standards.

The role involves 3 shifts per week, nights 6:30pm–7am, and requires completing a CNA program with CPR/BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA certificate in applicable state.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as assigned and per routine as defined by scope, standards, and procedures.
• Document care provided according to standards.
• Obtain and report vital signs and monitor telemetry as assigned.
• Attach patient to remote telemetry or bedside cardiac monitor.
