Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of frontline nurses providing patient care.
• Advocate for nurses and support them in reaching their potential.
• Communicate effectively in 1:1 and group settings; hold tough conversations when needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Document care using the nursing process and coordinate physician orders.
• Ensure timely discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
