Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license for WA, upon hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification, via American Heart Association, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of frontline nurses and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Advocate for nursing staff and support professional development.
• Administer, supervise and document medication administration per hospital policy.
• Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual domains and coordinate care.
• Document care using the nursing process and communicate changes to the medical team.
• Maintain compliance with safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Engage in tough conversations and hold staff accountable for performance and unit goals.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
