Pawp, Inc. is seeking qualified veterinarians to provide remote telemedicine services. This role allows veterinarians to leverage video consultations to improve pet health outcomes, while working independently under a vendor services agreement. A valid license in specific states and liability insurance are required.
Pawp is offering an opportunity for qualified veterinarians to provide remote telemedicine services to Pawp’s platform users. This is an opportunity to offer accessible, preventative, and consistent healthcare for pets through virtual consultations, while generating additional revenue for your practice. Using their professional medical judgement, the veterinarian will establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship to determine the best treatment steps and, where medically appropriate, issue a prescription for the patient. The telemedicine veterinarians will play a pivotal role in improving pet health outcomes by leveraging video consultations to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications when appropriate, all while adhering to telemedicine regulations and industry standards. Valid liability insurance is required for all services provided.
NOTE: An active license in New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, Vermont, Idaho, Arizona, OR Virginia is required.
Scope of Services
Provide remote video consultations via the Pawp platform to thoroughly evaluate each patient’s medical data and presenting concerns and establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
Create a Care Plan for the patient, including prescribing medications as medically appropriate. Empower pet parents by sharing educational insights, articles and resources to help them better understand their pet’s condition or issue.
Provide assistance with follow-up treatment questions.
Provide timely navigation to physical care, particularly in an emergency situation, whenever appropriate.
Help everyday people be better pet parents and make the right decisions for their pets.
Estimated commitment: 4-10 hours/week.
