Zusammenfassung

Woundlocal is seeking a licensed physician to serve as Supervising Physician for our telemedicine practice in Texas. You will provide clinical oversight and collaborate with a team of 12 APPs, including NPs and PAs, ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care across our virtual platform.

The role supports APPs in clinical decision-making and professional development, requires 3–5 years post-residency, and a Texas license. Telemedicine experience is a plus, and compensation is negotiable.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO with active Texas medical license.
• 3–5 years of clinical practice after residency.
• Experience supervising NPs/PAs in a clinical setting.
• Active DEA registration if overseeing controlled substances.
• Strong understanding of telemedicine regulations and supervision requirements.
• Familiarity with EHR/telehealth platforms.

Aufgaben

• Provide collaborative supervision for up to 12 APPs in accordance with state-specific supervision requirements.
• Conduct regular chart reviews per state and payer requirements.
• Be available for real-time consultation during scheduled shifts for urgent clinical questions or complex cases.
• Ensure all supervised care meets clinical quality standards and company protocols.
• Maintain timely documentation of supervisory activities (logs, meeting notes).
