Job summary

NIVA Health is seeking a licensed MD or DO to lead telemedicine-based wound care forSC and NC patients, supervising Nurse Practitioners providing in-home visits and ensuring high-quality care.

The role requires active SC and NC licenses, payer credentialing collaboration, and coordination with specialists for escalation when needed. A flexible schedule and malpractice coverage are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted SC medical license.
• Active North Carolina medical license required; practice in both states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telemedicine consultations and initial wound assessments to establish diagnosis and plan of care.
• Review wound photos, measurements, and serial docs to track healing and adjust treatment.
• Direct dressing selection, offloading, compression strategies, debridement plans, and infection management.
