Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – APN or PA – for a full-time telemedicine role in Internal Medicine.

The APP will work autonomously with a collaborating physician to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care via telemedicine, including histories, exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and delivering education and counseling to individuals and families.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in health care; telemedicine preferred.
• Nationally certified to provide health and medical care via telemedicine in internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care via telemedicine platform, including history and physical exams.
• Order, perform, supervise, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Provide teaching, counseling and patient education; promote health and disease prevention.
