SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Telematics / Service virtualization specialist in Dallas, TX. The role requires hands-on testing across IoT Telematics, embedded devices, CAN bus, and telematics applications.

The candidate will work in a global delivery environment, performing API testing and test automation with Java or .NET tools, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2+ years IT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience in IoT domains—Telematics, Manufacturing, Automotive.
• Hands on experience in service virtualization, web service and API testing.
• Knowledge of development tools, simulators, and test frameworks based on Java/.NET.

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred

• Minimum of at least 2 years of QA experience


• Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes.


• Skills: Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Communication skills, ability to work in a multiple / diverse stakeholders environment, People coordination


• Should have at least 2 years of experience in IoT Domains- Telematics, Manufacturing, Automotive


• Should have at least 1 year hands on experience working with Vehicle diagnostics applications, telematics web and mobile based applications, CAN bus protocols, embedded devices and sensors, car firmware such as HMI, OBD2, Telematics Mobile Unit


• Should have at least 1+ years hands on experience working with service virtualization, web service and API testing


• Should have good experience in testing and debugging end to end IoT systems including device, connectivity, backend, cloud, analytics and applications


• Should have knowledge of development of tools, simulators and test frameworks based on Java /.net technologies


• Ability to understand NFR & metrics


• Hands on experience in test automation for mobile applications


• Analytical and Communication skills


• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
