Qualifications

• Strong commercial Android experience in Kotlin with background execution knowledge.
• Experience with iOS app maintenance and Swift.
• Familiarity with Android permissions model and background location.
• Modern Android UI/architecture using Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow.
• Ability to write tests for concurrency and handle race conditions.
• Experience with AI coding agents and critical review of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Implement background journey recording and location features.
• Handle BLE beacon detection and sensor data capture.
• Develop customer facing app: dashboard, journey history, maps.
• Release engineering: white-label builds and staged rollouts.
• Debug from logs, traces, and crash reports; add targeted logging.
