Job summary
Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an Automotive Telematics Engineer to lead the integration, development and validation of telematics and connectivity in modern vehicles. You will design and validate Telematics Control Units (TCUs), work with CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS/DoIP, and embedded C/C++ in Linux or QNX environments.
Responsibilities include vehicle-to-cloud connectivity, MQTT/TCP-IP, OTA/FOTA updates, ECU integration and diagnostics, plus supporting vehicle testing
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive Telematics / TCU / Connected Vehicle.
- CAN / CAN FD and automotive protocols.
- 4G LTE / 5G and GNSS / GPS.
- Embedded C / C++ and Linux / QNX.
- Automotive Ethernet and TCP/IP / MQTT.
- Experience with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and validate Telematics Control Units (TCU).
- Work with CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS/DoIP, and vehicle communication networks.
- Integrate and troubleshoot 4G/5G cellular, GNSS/GPS, and wireless communication systems.
- Support vehicle-to-cloud connectivity, MQTT/TCP-IP communication, and OTA/FOTA updates.
- Perform ECU integration, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Work with embedded C/C++ and Linux/QNX environments.
- Analyze vehicle data and resolve communication/connectivity issues.
- Support vehicle testing, system integration, and validation activities.
