Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a field service technician to keep heavy equipment fleets running. You will diagnose across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, travel to customer sites, and collaborate with customers in the field using our T3 platform.

You bring hands-on experience with construction equipment, a clean driving record, and strong teamwork and communication. Training is available year-round, with safety-focused operations and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
• Prior field service, maintenance, or repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; must be 21+ to operate company vehicle.
• Ability to read and apply schematics/diagrams.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leverage telematics to create/assign work orders and track service intervals.
• Execute maintenance and repairs on rental and customer-owned equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document work thoroughly and on time in electronic systems.
• Support parts ordering and pick-up/delivery of equipment and components.
• Travel to customer sites; keep service vehicle organized and professional.
• Model safe work habits; OSHA familiarity preferred.
• Mentor developing technicians as opportunities arise.
• Engage in year-round OEM training.
• Contribute to additional tasks as needed.
