Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is hiring a Construction Equipment Technician to service a full line of equipment and support customer needs. You will diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime or be on-call as needed. We offer competitive pay and benefits in a team oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction equipment repair experience.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• High School Diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on construction equipment.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and factories.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on service trucks.
• Work overtime or on-call as needed.
