Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of exceptional clinicians. The role offers a flexible and rewarding work-life balance with a blend of in-person and remote work options.

Schedule: 8 hours per week, 50% completed remotely via telehealth with only 1 onsite visit biweekly. The position emphasizes quality patient care and collaboration with the care team, with competitive wages and travel time compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification where mandated.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure CMS/DOH compliance and monitor weight changes weekly/monthly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and review menus for USDA guidelines.
