Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope.
• Knowledge of personal care and hygiene for quality of life.
• Awareness of healthcare risks and mitigation.
• Ability to communicate with diverse patients and families.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts and partnership with patients.
• BLS certification prior to hire (AHA).

• Communicate with and support the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision of licensed clinicians.
• Maintain a safe patient care environment.
• Assist with maintaining supplies and equipment for efficient unit operations.
• Conduct patient rounds, anticipate needs and respond to call lights.
• May act as a virtual safety associate as needed.
• Assist in telehealth exams using peripheral devices and video conferencing.
