Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for PRN Clinical Research to deliver 30-minute telehealth nutrition sessions for a 52-week study. You will provide evidence-based counseling, educate on diet and lifestyle changes, and document encounters in electronic systems.

Collaborating with clinicians and coordinators, you will ensure timely visits, maintain HIPAA and GCP compliance, and adapt care to participants across different sites while managing a flexible remote schedule.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credential in good standing required.
• Current state licensure as a dietitian per state where participants are located.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical/telehealth nutrition counseling.
• Experience with obesity, metabolic health, diabetes or CV-related conditions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition therapy and behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute telehealth nutrition counseling sessions every four weeks for 52 weeks.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling per protocol and sponsor requirements.
• Educate on healthy dietary habits, activity, and sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Use motivational interviewing to support engagement and adherence.
• Document interactions and assessments in electronic systems accurately.
• Collaborate with study team and report safety or protocol concerns promptly.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required GCP/ICH training.
• Work remotely with a flexible schedule while ensuring timely visits.
