Job summary

Brave Health is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adolescents and adults. The NP will assess mental and physical health, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Responsibilities include ordering diagnostic tests, monitoring medications, and educating patients and families about conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (visa not provided).
• Florida or New York license holders must have active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ mental and physical status based on presenting symptoms and complaints.
• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and educate patients on risks and benefits.
• Document medical and psychological histories and treatment plans in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans.
