Job summary

Brave Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to assess and treat patients’ mental and physical health in a collaborative, technology-enabled setting. You will diagnose disorders, provide psychotherapy as needed, and prescribe medications, while educating patients and families about care plans.

The role emphasizes HIPAA-compliant documentation, coordination with the Clinical Director, and ongoing patient follow-up across ages 13+.

Qualifications

• Board-certified PMHNP with licensure in the US.
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth and EHR documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adolescent and adult patients across the lifespan.
• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor effects.
• Order diagnostic tests (EKGs, labs) as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Document medical histories, assessments, plans, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on treatment plans.
