Job summary

Thriveworks Reading, PA is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine-based assessments and ongoing care for adults and adolescents. Board-certified PMHNP with PA prescriptive authority is required; 3 years of experience is a plus, 1 year in psychiatry is required.

The role includes performing psychiatric evaluations, creating care plans, prescribing medications as appropriate, and collaborating with regional directors.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Must be licensed and reside in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in a telemedicine capacity.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up; provide in-person days at the Reading office at least 1 day per week.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans and complete assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with regional staff.
