Job summary

BlueSky Telepsych is seeking a PMHNP to provide high-quality psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting. You will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications when appropriate.

The role encourages collaboration with a diverse team of therapists and prescribers, with flexible scheduling across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Clinicians work remotely, with regular virtual case discussions.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Solid computer and basic technology skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical background in psychiatry.
• Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments; familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.
• Must have PMHNP license and be open to licensing in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.
• At least 6 months of PMHNP work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
• Provide direct patient care, assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
• Ensure patient care complies with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with teams of therapists and prescribers; attend regular staffing meetings.
