Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. citizen.
• One year of health care experience or four academic years in health-related coursework.
• Equivalent education/experience combinations may qualify for entry level.
• Grandfathering provisions apply for current VA Health Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the clinical environment and equipment for telehealth.
• Serve as tele-presenter to enable CVT and VVC encounters.
• Act as imager and data manager for store-and-forward telehealth.
• Protect patient safety and privacy per regulations.
• Receive and schedule telehealth appointments across sites.
• Monitor telehealth schedules and coordinate resources.

Education

Bachelor's degree with health-related courses

Associate's degree in a health care related field

Six months of health care experience
