Job summary

Responsibilities

• Preparing the clinical environment and telecommunications equipment for clinical examination and treatment
• Serving as a telepresenter to facilitate clinical encounters and establish video conferencing connections
• Acting as an imager and clinical data manager for store-and-forward telehealth encounters
• Ensuring patient care safety by following procedures for inventory, cleaning, and maintenance of telehealth tech
• Completing standardized clinical questionnaires and protecting patient privacy
• Scheduling telehealth appointments using an electronic resource-based system
• Screening patients for Telehealth modality and referring those not meeting criteria
• Maintaining schedules for rooms, patients, technologies, clinicians, and presenters
• Providing patient education via approved materials and supporting patient satisfaction surveys
• Configuring, installing, troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining telehealth technologies
• Ensuring telehealth technologies are inventoryed, secure, and ready, coordinating with help desks for issues
• Providing education and training to Veterans, staff, and providers on telehealth technologies
• Maintaining knowledge of rules, procedures, and operations in telehealth and related tech
