Job summary

Abode Care Partners is seeking a dependable part-time Medical Assistant to support telehealth visits across Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. The CMA/RMA will facilitate telehealth encounters, assist with vital signs, and ensure a smooth, professional experience for patients and providers.

This role requires experience in clinical settings, travel to multiple locations within the market area, and adherence to HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• CMA/RMA certification required.
• Experience with telehealth platforms preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate telehealth visits by setting up iPad or mobile connections between patients and providers.
• Assist during telehealth visits with communication, positioning, and real-time needs.
• Obtain and document basic vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, etc.).
• Support providers by relaying clinical information during virtual visits.
• Ensure equipment is functioning prior to each appointment.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate care with facility staff and internal teams.
• Assist with light administrative tasks as needed.
