Job Description

We are seeking a Telecounselor Associate to serve our community. Operating in over 70 treatment centers across multiple states, our team engages in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management for individuals with OUD. We treat the whole person, addressing underlying causes of OUD to provide comprehensive care and support on their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide individual counseling via a HIPAA-compliant, synchronous video platform.
  2. Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
  3. Maintain a performance standard of 50% of hours in direct patient contact monthly.
  4. Complete all clinical documentation within required timeframes.
  5. Assist with intake, discharge, and transfer paperwork as needed.
  6. Document patient progress and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  7. Identify clinical needs and coordinate with the treatment team.
  8. Maintain communication with clinic leadership and support staff.
  9. Report abuse, neglect, grievances, and coordinate drug screens.
  10. Ensure understanding of policies and compliance with confidentiality regulations.
  11. Maintain licensure and participate in inspections and meetings.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a Human Services field and current Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern status, with the ability to obtain licensure within 2 years.
  • At least 1 year of counseling experience.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and telecounseling preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technological skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Includes sedentary work, ability to operate in a private workspace if remote, and travel for training. Must meet physical and mental requirements outlined, including communication, vision, and physical activity levels.

Job Requirements
  • Florida LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW intern level.
