Operating in over 70 centers across multiple states, we focus on medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management to address the whole person and support recovery.

We are seeking a Telecounselor Associate to serve the community as part of our team.

Job Summary:

Telecounselors provide individual counseling via a HIPAA-compliant video platform to patients across the U.S. They work within a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical needs, complete documentation, and support patient recovery. Remote work arrangements are possible, subject to company policies and performance standards.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct individual counseling via synchronous video communication.
  • Educate patients on treatment and recovery steps.
  • Maintain a minimum of 50% of hours in direct patient contact.
  • Complete all required clinical documentation timely.
  • Assist with intake, discharge, and transfer paperwork.
  • Document patient progress and maintain compliance with policies.
  • Identify and address clinical needs.
  • Communicate with clinic staff and respond to emails promptly.
  • Report abuse, neglect, grievances, and coordinate drug screens.
  • Ensure understanding of policies and compliance with confidentiality regulations.
  • Maintain licensure and participate in inspections and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Human Services field; current Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, with ability to obtain licensure within 2 years.
  • At least 1 year counseling experience.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and telecounseling preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technological skills; dependable and able to multitask.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Includes sedentary work, ability to lift 10 pounds, and working in an office or private home setting with appropriate privacy and security measures.

Job Requirements:
  • Operate in an open office or private remote workspace.
  • Occasional travel for training.
Mental Activities:
  • Interpret instructions, maintain confidentiality, perform basic math, and communicate fluently in English.
Licensure:

FL LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW intern level required.
