A leading utility provider in Sacramento is seeking a Telecommunications Technician I to safely construct, modify, and maintain telecommunications systems. This full-time position requires a high school diploma and two years of electronics schooling, with preference given to candidates with relevant experience and certifications. The role involves working on-site to ensure effective telecommunications operations and support.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience as an Apprentice Telecommunications Technician or equivalent.
• Possess a current FCC General Class Radiotelephone license or acquire within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and installs new telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Operates, monitors, investigates, tests telecommunications systems.
• Performs preventive and repair maintenance on telecommunications systems and equipment.
