Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is hiring a Telecommunications Laborer in Mt. Laurel, NJ. You’ll support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials, perform hand digging, move equipment, and help manage project logistics.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, physical stamina, and willingness to obtain a pole climber certification. Wage is $23.00–$26.00 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and eligible to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pole climber certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience in telecommunications labor is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew as needed
• Move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications before work
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging with shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic per local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call as needed
• Work in all weather conditions

What you’ll do

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

Wage range for Telecommunications Laborer - Mt. Laurel, NJ is $23.00 - $26.00.
