Qualifications

• SOQ is required.
• Knowledge/experience in Land Mobile Radio, IT, and emergency communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering staff with Satellite Program (CT SATCOM), CARS, and HAR tasks.
• Support day-to-day and emergency communications services for Caltrans Headquarters and the Sacramento Region.
• Receive training in project planning, basic design contributions, FCC licensing support, equipment installation oversight, and ops of communications systems.
