Job summary

CDW is seeking a senior telecommunications professional to support the final phase of a large-scale enterprise voice modernization initiative in Irvine, CA. The project focuses on migrating approximately 4,500 phone numbers from a Mitel PBX to Microsoft Teams Phone, AudioCodes gateways, and Avaya platforms.

You will handle migration planning, implementation, troubleshooting, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer, plus creating reports and dashboards using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Migrate ~4,500 phone numbers from Mitel PBX to Teams Phone, AudioCodes gateways, and Avaya.
• Convert Mitel Hunt Groups into Microsoft Teams Call Queues.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Teams Phone, Mitel PBX, and AudioCodes gateways.
• Validate phone number ownership, usage, and migration requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze telecom inventory, LDAP, billing, and PBX data to support migration planning.
• Identify and mitigate risks with complex voice migration scenarios.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Create reports, dashboards, and tracking tools using Excel and data analysis tools.

Project Summary

Seeking a senior telecommunications professional to support the final phase of a large-scale enterprise voice modernization initiative, migrating approximately 4,500 phone numbers from a legacy Mitel PBX environment to Microsoft Teams Phone, AudioCodes analog gateways, and Avaya platforms. This project-focused role includes migration planning, implementation, troubleshooting, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Migrate approximately 4,500 phone numbers from Mitel PBX to Teams Phone, AudioCodes gateways, and Avaya.
• Convert Mitel Hunt Groups (HTGs) into Microsoft Teams Call Queues.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Teams Phone, Mitel PBX, and AudioCodes gateway environments.
• Validate phone number ownership, usage, and migration requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze telecom inventory, LDAP, billing, and PBX data to support migration planning.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with complex voice migration scenarios.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, migration procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Create reports, dashboards, and tracking tools using Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Support healthcare and specialized voice migration initiatives as needed.
