IN2-AV Recruitment: International AV Staffing Solutions is seeking a Telecom Engineering Lead to guide multi-discipline telecom infrastructure projects and drive best practices across teams.

You will mentor designers and engineers, shaping the firm's talent and refining internal standards, templates, and tools. The role emphasizes independent project delivery, client coordination, and technical excellence in the US market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of heavy AEC industry experience focused tightly on Telecom, ICT, Structured Cabling, or Low Voltage systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical is the vibe, but equivalent experience works too).
• Proven ability to deliver dead-accurate, coordinated designs and take strong ownership of multi-discipline coordination strategy.
• Favoured Certifications: RCDD (Telecom/ICT), PE (heavily favoured), CDT, CCNA, PMP, EIT.
• Strong technical grip on Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, and GitHub.

• Risk Mitigation: Use strong judgment to identify risks early, crush discipline conflicts before they slow things down.

• Mentorship: Accelerate growth of Designers and production staff by providing guidance and timely feedback.

1. Strategic Project Leadership

You will guide diverse teams, keeping everything tightly aligned with scope, schedule, and budget. You'll use your sharp engineering judgment to spot risks before they blow up and ensure client trust through reliable follow-through and crystal-clear communication.

2. Mentorship & Discipline Growth

Internally, you are the technical anchor. You'll mentor Designers and engineers with hands-on guidance and feedback that seriously strengthens discipline capability. You'll play a lead role in developing the firm's talent and shaping training resources that accelerate team growth.

3. System Innovation & Best Practices

You will strengthen the consultancy's core operational system by refining internal standards, templates, and tools. This isn't standard paper pushing; you'll contribute to GitHub by documenting client-specific nuances and submitting targeted Pull Requests to keep workflows modern and scalable. Externally, you'll start developing credibility through thought-leadership - contributing to blog content, white papers, and industry presentations.
