Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Pocatello, ID is seeking a variable-shift PRN Telecommunications Clerk to support Portneuf Medical Center’s switchboard, paging, and emergency communications. This role handles calls, alarms, and paging systems to help maintain smooth operations and patient flow.

You will assist with EMR support and day-to-day communication duties, contributing to a people-first healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year in a telecommunications setting.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides and processes communication support to the Director/Manager.
• Assists in smooth patient flow throughout the facility by processing incoming calls via switchboard, alarms, two-way radio, emergency phones, and paging systems as needed.
• Works on special projects as needed/requested. Provides EMR support to Staff.
• Assist all department s and public with day-to-day operations of communication.
