Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC is seeking a Telecommunications Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience and a keen interest in telecommunications and emerging technology law.

You will advise municipal and public agency clients on federal telecom law and policy, draft regulations and licenses, conduct legal research, and support filings and litigation as needed. A JD is required and DC Bar admission is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in federal communications law and FCC regulations.
• Genuine interest in public service and assisting public-sector clients.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively on complex legal matters.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar preferred, or eligibility and willingness to become admitted promptly.
• Bar membership in Maryland, Virginia, or New York is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise municipal and public agency clients on federal telecommunications law and policy.
• Draft local regulations, ordinances, and agreements such as franchises and licenses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare regulatory filings and rulemaking comments.
• Support advocacy efforts and federal court litigation as needed.
