Job summary

Isbell Construction, an ElectriCom company, seeks a Foreman to lead a 3-5 person crew on telecom and utility construction projects. The role combines on-site leadership with hands-on work, including equipment operation, trenching, installation, and site preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Foreman in telecom, utility, or construction.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew.
• Proficiency operating heavy equipment; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3-5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects.
• Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals.
• Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew.
• Conduct job-site and equipment inspections.
• Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers.
• Support a team-oriented work environment and encourage crew development and growth.
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions; travel to job sites including overnight assignments.
