Job summary

TSW CORE LLC seeks a qualified engineer to lead end-to-end wireless device validation in Palo Alto. You will design test plans, automate with Python and shell, integrate into CI pipelines, and work with carriers and labs for certification.

You will analyze protocol logs with QXDM, QCAT, ELT, and Wireshark, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and drive regression testing to ensure product quality. On-site collaboration across software, RF, and lab teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing, validation, debugging, automation, or technical documentation.
• Experience with wireless/mobile device testing in lab environments.
• Bachelor’s degree with related field and 18 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with carriers and labs to plan and execute certification tests.
• Analyze protocol logs with QXDM/QCAT/ELT/Wireshark and troubleshoot issues.
• Design structured test plans for VoLTE/roaming and automate in CI pipelines.
• Track defects, perform root-cause analysis, and execute regression tests.
• Maintain automated lab testing infrastructure and enhance automation frameworks.
• Gather field data to prioritize fixes and improve product quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional validation with software, RF, and systems teams.
• Coordinate third-party lab testing and prepare technical docs for certification.
• Refine testing protocols based on failure patterns and post-launch reviews.
