Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in electrical/electronic technology, or military training/experience in related technology field.
• High school diploma with a minimum 5 years of related work experience or industry knowledge.
• Must demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills as Telecom Technician C with at least 5 years of technical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate to advanced level installation, testing, and documentation of telecom equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and test electronic/optical equipment, perform maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain records, drawings, and data for work performed.
• Operate tools and equipment, assist/training for others, and support safety rules and procedures.
