Job summary

Henderson Engineers is looking for Telecom Designers to be responsible for designing, documenting, and delivering telecommunications systems across various environments such as commercial and healthcare. You will create design documents, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of experience in telecommunications design. This position includes flexible working hours and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of telecommunications design experience within an A&E consulting environment.
• Experience preparing construction documents for telecommunications systems.
• Understanding of telecommunications rooms and structured cabling design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare telecommunications design documents including floor plans and specifications.
• Design structured cabling infrastructure according to project criteria.
• Coordinate telecommunications systems with other engineering disciplines.

Skills

Telecommunications design experience

Proficiency with Revit

Working knowledge of TIA standards

Strong communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
