Job summary

French & Parrello Associates seeks a Structural Project Engineer for the Telecom Department in Wall, NJ. You will perform structural analysis and design for towers, rooftops, and related structures, using O-Calc, RISA, and AutoCAD to create reports and drawings.

You will review drawings and standards, coordinate with teams and clients, and participate in field inspections, proposals, and budgets to ensure timely, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with O-Calc, tnxTower, RISA, and other structural analysis software.
• Familiarity with standards such as TIA-222, AISC, and ACI.
• EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for telecommunication towers, monopoles, rooftops, and related structures.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and client standards to ensure compliance with codes and design requirements.
• Develop construction drawings, calculations, and documentation to support new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are accurate and on schedule.
• Conduct field visits and inspections to gather site data and verify structural conditions.
• Assist in preparing proposals, project budgets, and schedules as needed.
