Job description

Our client is searching for a Manager for their Network Engineering Department for a full-time position in Little Rock, AR.

This role involves managing a team within a telecommunications company, requiring candidates to have telecom experience. The position demands expert-level knowledge and support related to budgeting, equipment specifications, procurement, configurations, and installation assurance.

Duties:

1. Oversees and manages the design of the IP network infrastructure, including Nokia, Cisco, interconnection, IP Transit, Peering, and other aspects of the IP network.
2. Oversees and manages the technology standardization, planning, and design of the transport network, including DWDM systems, ROADMs, and SONET.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of transport network and IP routing technologies and services.
• Expert knowledge of telecommunications design, installation practices, and principles.
• Experience provisioning or commissioning telecommunications network elements such as routers, switches, DSLAMs, PON, TDM, VOIP, DWDM.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, which may depend on your job classification and employment length. Benefits are subject to change and specific plan terms. If eligible, benefits may include:
