Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. seeks a Lineman to support the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of overhead telecommunications lines. Travel weekly is required; prior pole work experience is essential. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, follow safety policies, and document tasks per company standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year as a Lineman.
• Experience reading engineering/construction prints and plans.
• Experience operating truck mounted aerial lifts and working from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Digging holes, climbing poles, and pulling/stringing wire between poles.
• Repairing and maintaining major cable systems and structures.
• Read work orders and specs to determine tasks.
• Set up traffic control and flag/ direct traffic as needed.
• Accurately complete timesheets, reports and expense reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and work safely at heights.
