Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a Lineman to install, operate, repair and maintain overhead telecommunications lines. The role involves digging, pole work, cable laying, and conversions, with a focus on accurate documentation and safety.

Travel is required; you will work outdoors in varying weather and may assist with general accounting tasks. Must have a high school diploma and relevant lineman experience, with a valid driver’s license and DOT pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering/construction prints, plans and specs.
• Experience as a Lineman and operating aerial lifts is required or preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Dig holes, climb poles, place/remove poles and anchors, pull and string wire between poles.
• Repair and maintain cable systems; perform conversions and substructure work.
• Read work orders and specifications to determine tasks; operate aerial/underground equipment.
• Set up traffic controls and direct traffic as needed; complete required documentation.
