Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking safety-conscious Telecom Linemen for telecommunications infrastructure crews in Beckley, West Virginia. You will perform tasks such as installing aerial infrastructure, lashing cables, and maintaining job site safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The role offers an extensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, medical, dental, and vision options.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in telecom construction or lineman work.
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain one.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial telecommunications infrastructure including strand and fiber optic cable.
• Perform lashing and over-lashing of fiber and copper cable.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.

Skills

Field experience in telecom construction

Understanding of telecom safety standards

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Knowledge of electricity and cabling

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
