On Target is seeking a Telecommunications Line Worker to support construction and maintenance of overhead and underground telecom lines. This role includes fiber optic installation, pole work, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The candidate must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and coordinate with teams to meet project requirements. The position offers relocation assistance and career growth opportunities in a fast-growing utility services

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License with confirmed ELDT Course enrollment; CDL highly preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent; relevant college/technical school training or equivalent work experience highly preferred.
• Minimum of 12 months experience performing telecommunications line work.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain required licenses/certifications/documents.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Card (DOT Card) eligibility.
• Ability to climb utility poles and work on elevated structures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and operating procedures for construction and maintenance.
• Install fiber optic cable, strand, and splicing for overhead and underground lines.
• Work on/around energized lines and equipment; install and maintain poles and related telecom structures.
• Read sketches/diagrams and follow work plans; coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Be flexible with schedule, including overtime and emergency duty; perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Relocation assistance is available.This position is responsible for the construction and maintenance of telecommunications line projects and related equipment/structures/facilities both overhead and underground.The starting rate is $25.00 per hour, with rates up to $38.00 per hour for candidates with substantial experience.Your Responsibilities:Maintain a thorough knowledge of all relevant construction safety and maintenance operating standards/codes/policies/guidelines.Efficiently performs all types of line work following all construction safety and maintenance standards/codes/policies/guidelines.
