Job summary

Telamon Corporation is hiring an Installer Apprentice to train in telecommunications equipment installation within a Central Office environment. You will learn on-the-job through classroom, online, and hands-on training under supervision, with progression to an Installer I as you gain experience.

Travel up to 50–75% may be required, with multi-week assignments and potential overnight stays. Starting pay is $18/hour, with a raise after 90 days based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Completion of Basic Installation training or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Safety, Business Conduct, QA, and ESD training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, termination, labeling, and lacing of cables to industry standards.
• Mount racks, frames, and shelves, ensuring proper installation of equipment.
• Read installation documents and maintain accurate records of work hours.
