Job summary

Pearce is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. The role suits independent, self-motivated individuals willing to travel and work in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Requires 2+ years in generator maintenance, strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical components, and ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends. Competitive benefits and company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Minimum of one year in generator/electrical maintenance-related software, hardware and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators per blueprints/specs.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, wiring and controls, and test for proper operation.
• Respond promptly to generator alarms; may be on call 24/7 and answer calls/emails.
• Adhere to safety practices and attend designated safety/training meetings.
