Delivers on technology operations for an assigned area, working independently with limited supervision to achieve operational targets for performance, availability, security, and financial management of critical systems and infrastructure in line with established strategies. Supports enterprise telecom infrastructure and carrier services across voice, data, mobility, internet, transport, unified communications, and managed network services, including telecom spend governance, carrier contracts, and cost management.
  2. Contributes to the development and maintenance of technology standards, runbooks, and governance patterns, applying them consistently and providing guidance to reduce risk, support compliance, and improve how the job area operates. Supports telecom financial controls through validation and reconciliation of invoices, service inventory, carrier pricing, contract obligations, rate compliance, accruals, and financial reporting.
  3. Develops telecom forecasts, cost models, business cases, total‑cost‑of‑ownership analyses, and scenario and sensitivity analyses to support carrier, infrastructure, and commercial decisions.
  7. Monitors and analyzes operational metrics, logs, and observability data for owned services, using insights to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives with major impact on job‑area results. Analyzes telecom spend, service inventory, billing, pricing, usage, contract, and carrier data to identify cost savings, cost avoidance, billing leakage, financial exposure, and infrastructure optimization opportunities.
  8. Partners with Network Engineering, Telecom Service Delivery, Mobility, TEM operations, Procurement, Legal, Accounts Payable, Finance, and carrier teams to support service lifecycle, sourcing, contract, and commercial decisions.
  9. May lead high‑priority incident response by identifying issues, triaging, coordinating restoration efforts, and minimizing business impact while driving effective post‑incident reviews. Addresses telecom service, inventory, billing, pricing, provisioning, usage, carrier, and contract‑related discrepancies that may create financial or operational risk.
