Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Romney, WV is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to support field and office operations for telecommunications networks across West Virginia. You will assist with data collection, project scheduling, milestone tracking, and daily updates to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in construction, familiarity with drawings and documents, and strong computer skills (Quickbase, Bluebeam, Office 365).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of construction experience
• Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program
• Previous experience as Coordinator, Data Entry specialist is an asset
• Experience in telecommunications/wireless industry preferred.
• General understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge of current construction practices
• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs Familiarity with scheduling software an asset
• Proficiency with Quickbase, Bluebeam Review Extreme, Office 365, SharePoint, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, and GPS Photo Apps
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, managing time sensitive issues and deadlines
• Ability to work with little supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist construction and engineering teams with field and office activities
• Track project milestones and financial deadlines
• Create and maintain project schedule; provide updates to stakeholders
• Process field documentation: as-builts, redlines, photos, splice sheets
• Coordinate with vendors and in-house resources in OSP operations
• Support tendering, review invoices and progress claims
• Request materials and document consumption
• Data entry for daily production and timesheets
• Read construction drawings to assist pre-construction walks
• Promote Ledcor safety culture on the project
