Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. in Scranton, PA seeks a dedicated construction helper to support telecom crews. You’ll perform routine field tasks, organize materials, set up traffic control, and help ensure safety and efficiency on site.

This role requires endurance for long shifts, outdoor work in varying weather, and the ability to lift heavy loads. A high school diploma and at least two years of driving experience are required; pre-employment drug testing and a DOT physical apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least two years' driving experience with clean record.
• Ability to perform manual labor and operate hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine construction tasks such as pulling rope, using hand tools, and general cleanup.
• Stock trucks and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones; direct traffic as needed.
• Perform daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Complete required paperwork (timesheets, reports) accurately.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies; support project team.
