Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to support field teams in building telecommunications networks across West Virginia. You will assist with field data collection, scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation while coordinating with engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.

This on-site role requires travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites in West Virginia. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of construction experience, familiarity with construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of construction experience.
• Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program.
• Previous experience as Coordinator, Data Entry specialist is an asset.
• Experience in telecommunications/wireless industry preferred.
• General understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of current construction practices.
• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs. Familiarity with scheduling software an asset.
• Proficiency with Quickbase, Bluebeam Review Extreme, Office 365, SharePoint, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, and GPS Photo Apps.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, managing time sensitive issues and deadlines.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Construction and Engineering teams with field and office activities.
• Compile and process general construction documentation (As-builts, redlines, photos).
• Coordinate with Engineering and Construction vendors and inhouse resources in daily OSP operations.
• Supports subcontract and supplier tender and management, reviews invoices and progress claims.
• Requesting materials from warehouse and documenting consumption.
• Data entry for daily production, timesheets, and subcontractors.
• Read construction drawings to assist with pre-construction walkouts and locates.
• Promote Ledcor safety culture on the project and ensure compliance with safety programs.
