Company Description

LIVE TELCO is a telecom provider specialized in connecting enterprises and telecom operators around the world, especially in Middle East & Africa. We provide wholesale capacity below market prices by engaging in complex multi swaps and balance of trade. We help enterprises connecting rapidly in difficult locations.

We also work with Tier 1 operators for large and complex projects and lead complex sales engagements with customers by locking down a scope, a business case, and a transformation strategy until deal closure.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Telecom Technical Manager with a strong technical and commercial background taking END to END responsibility for:

  1. Pre-sales activities
  2. Post Sales activities
  3. Internal systems setup
  4. Onboard Telecom operators / vendors

1 – Pre-Sales

  1. Understand the customer challenges and create a requirement.
  2. Convert this requirement into a conceptual technical solution.
  3. Start preparing the technical proposal in partnership with partners, vendors, and customer.
  4. Produce the BOQ, Technical engagement, Operational and customer support.
  5. Define KPIs, SLAs, Pricing model, deployment plan, migration plan, operational plan, and support plan.
  6. Negotiate directly with the client and supplier the terms and support until deal closure.
  7. Produce marketing collaterals that can be reused.
  8. PM deployment.

2 – Post Sales

  1. Define the post sales engagement model, mainly SLAs, NOC model, interventional models and remain close to the client for any operational issues.

3 – Internal Systems setup

  1. Implement an open source OSS/BSS -NMS that will allow us to monitor and manage links (MPLS / Internet / VSAT), with reports given to the customer.
  2. Create a portal that will allow customer to access their metrics and other information (Invoices / CRM).

4 – Onboard Telecom Operators / Vendors

  1. Find new operators globally, negotiate last mile price.
  2. Review contractual, commercial and technical documentation and give feedback.
  3. Agree on a NOC to NOC arrangement and potentially an NNI.
  4. Agree on SLAs that will be then standardized across our offering.
  5. Onboard on the NMS the new supplier.

Qualifications

  1. Telecom Engineer.
  2. Strong Telecom Technical expertise and experience with large Telecom operators.
  3. Strong technical skills: VSAT / MPLS / DIA / SD-WAN / HUB-REMOTE solutions / HYBRID networks / SIP / OPERATOR CONNECT / LORA-WAN / IoT / Cyber Security.
  4. Experience with NMS and supplier onboarding.
  5. Knowledge of the main vendors: CISCO / FORTINET / VELO CLOUD / TEAMS / etc.
  6. Experience in creating network designs, topologies.
  7. Knowledge with great Sales and Marketing acumen.
  8. Strong analytical skills, particularly in data analysis, to generate insights and develop templates and marketing campaigns.
  9. Experience in providing management consulting and deliver high quality documents.
  10. Excellent communication skills across different mediums, including face-to-face communication, presentations, and written reports.
  11. Understanding of finance and financial analysis to support business cases and deal structuring.
  12. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across different levels in an organization.
  13. Experience in the telecom or technology industry is required.
