Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Network Engineering or related field, or 5+ years telecom exp with equivalent education.
• 5+ years direct experience in carrier optical engineering, network engineering and provisioning.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, map, build, and label private circuits across regional areas, initial focus on Carolinas work.
• Collaborate with Carrier Services on leased circuit design and implementation.
• Document equipment with circuit IDs and reserve bandwidth for each circuit.
• Prepare clear instructions for Field Services and NOC for testing and turn‑ups on private circuits.
