Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a Telecom Engineer to join our Bergen-based team to drive telecom engineering across concept, study and detail design phases.

We value experience with Norwegian shelf projects, network design, fiber and structured cabling, and knowledge of PAGA systems and NORSOK standards; installation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom engineering.
• Experience from projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• Competence in network design, fiber and structured cabling.
• Experience with PAGA systems; familiarity with customer requirements and NORSOK standards.
• Installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Telecom solutions development in concept, study and detail design phases.
• Engineering of networks, fiber optic systems and telecom infrastructure.
• Preparation of technical documentation and work packages.
• Follow-up on installation, testing and commissioning.
• As-built documentation and technical support through project execution.
• Support Discipline Lead Telecom as needed.

Function

• Utvikling av telekomløsninger i konsept-, studie- og detaljdesignfase
• Engineering av nettverk, fiberoptiske systemer og telekominfrastruktur
• Utarbeidelse av teknisk dokumentasjon og arbeidspakker
• Oppfølging av installasjon, testing og commissioning
• As-built dokumentasjon og teknisk støtte gjennom prosjektgjennomføringen
• Støtte Discipline Lead Telecom ved behov

Requirements

• Minimum 2 års erfaring innen Telecom Engineering
• Erfaring fra prosjekter på norsk sokkel
• Kompetanse innen nettverksdesign, fiber og strukturert kabling
• Erfaring med PAGA-systemerKjennskap til kundens-krav og NORSOK-standarder
• Installasjonserfaring er en fordel
